Josh Koren is an experienced investor, hedge fund executive, and financial markets professional with more than fifteen years of experience analyzing companies, managing investments, and leading research efforts across the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. His career reflects a disciplined approach to investing built upon rigorous research, thoughtful risk management, and a deep understanding of evolving market dynamics.

Raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Josh developed an early appreciation for discipline and competition through athletics, particularly ice hockey. He later attended Cherry Hill High School East before earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. During his academic career, he also completed coursework at the London School of Economics, broadening his understanding of international finance and capital markets.

Josh began his professional journey in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Evercore Partners, where he developed a strong foundation in corporate finance and transaction analysis. He subsequently held investment roles at JAT Capital Management, Caxton Associates, and Kavi Asset Management before becoming Head of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications and Director of Research at Pleasant Lake Partners.

Building upon this experience, Josh founded Musketeer Capital Partners, a long/short equity investment firm focused on identifying opportunities within the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Throughout his career, he has become recognized for his disciplined investment process, detailed company research, and thoughtful market analysis.
